Building the Moral Consensus That Torture is Always Wrong
The MNYRCAT Steering Committee is hoping that your congregation is interested in hosting a screening of the DVD, Ending U.S.-Sponsored Torture Forever: A Study for People of Faith. This 18 minute DVD was produced by the National Religious Campaign Against Torture to provide the context for faith communities to discuss the issue of torture from the perspective of the values that inform their faith. If your congregation is interested in screening this DVD, and possibly having a member of MNYRCAT present to help with the discussion, please contact Mark Hallinan, S.J. at hallinan@nysj.org.
